Attended a wonderful chanting workshop last nite at the yoga study I go to (my second home). The lovely Lisa Booth led the Sivanada chants.
Am developing a deeper fascination with Sanskrit which is one of the reasons I wanted to attend last nite. Now my success with Japanese has been less that admirable in the six and a half years I've been here, therefore I would like to apologise to all the Hindu Deities I was chanting to last nite for my appalling pronunciation and off key sounds!
Can only get better form here.
Jaya Ganesha Jaya Ganesha
Jaya Ganesha Phimaam
Sri Ganesha Sri Ganesha
Sri Ganesha Rakshamaam
This is the chant that called to me.

Well this week has seen me much on BIG green salads, tomatoes, bananas, tomatoes, goji berries, tomatoes, grapes, tomatoes, portobello mushie sandwiches, tomatoes.....yep can't get enough of the red, round beauties.
I have a certain way of eating them too....can't just bite into them as you lose half the juice and seeds down your front. I like to cut them up into triangular segments, arrange them on my mini plate then eat them one by one. This process can take up to 30 mins as I savour the taste.
Think me mad???
Am going to talk more about my diet in my blogs, and share more.
Today, I'm having;
Mango for brekkie (an all time fave)
a handful of goji berries around 11
porobello mushies again around 2
a pear late afternoon.
pineapple
Have decided to not eat after 7pm as I think it's important to let my body deal with the daily takings then allow a flush/detox. Also leaves my stomach empty and light for my morning yoga practice which obviously allows me to move alot me easily.
Still want to get another 10kg off...so I may start recording this final part of my weight loss down in this blog. What do you think?
If there's anything in particular you would like to know about my raw journey please ask as it would be great help for my future business.
Have a good day all

Once a week I have a fruit day. I don't mix the fruits at meals, choosing to eat them at 2 hour intervals. Offers a deep, deep, cleanse.
Todays menu is;
DURIAN........(bought over the weekend and last nite it was all ripened and ready to open and eat and eating some while I write, most scrummy).
Seedless green grapes
a pear
a nectarine
mango
Doesn't seem like a lot, but due to the high nutrition each fruit wonder fills me right up. I keep my water intake the same, so with the fruit and water i frequent the bathroom....but it's all good.
Obviously, I would promote this as a daily diet as one would not be able to attain energy and growth as there are certain minerals and vitamins lacking, but once a week is just fine.
big smiles to you all

Went to a wonderful ashtanga class this morning. Today my body felt good and my practice was deep. My breath was powerful and really led me through the 90minutes. Came away feeling on top of the world, literally floated down the street and when I got on my bike to cycle home, I took so much more in around me.
Came home and didn't want to spoil the lightness that was inside and surrounding me, so juiced three pink grapefruits and just sat in the center of my living room, drinking the juice and concentrating on my body and it's sensations.
Now, grapefruits seem to be my 'thang' of the week. been juicing so many of the pink balls of loveliness, and have experimented rubbing the flesh on my skin. Left it on for 15 minutes. Was most cooling and has left my skin feeling lovely and smooth.
Not only am I playing around with fruits and veggies in the kitchen to eat, I think why waste some of these bits of flesh, and pulps.....rub them on the body. Too much money is spent on products nowadays, even more so if it comes in a fancy packaging....go natural. make salad for lunch, with avocado, and leave a little of this green beauty to smother on your face (and lick off your lips). You've been AVOCADO-ED.
This isn't just for women, my husband also loves covering his face with fruity delights.
Eat well, care for the skin well and feel beauty on the inside and out!

Don't you just love the sound of rain?
I find it really therapeutic.
I like to close my eyes and listen to the drops hit the window. Then a car goes past and drives through a puddle. You hear the water splashing.
Nature.
